Samsung Galaxy A06 is the cheapest Samsung phone in 2026. In Pakistan, the PTA approved price is Rs 26,999. Many people with a budget of 25k to 27k want to know: “Can it run PUBG and Free Fire?”
Note: I have not used this phone myself. I wrote this post after full research. I checked specs on WhatMobile, watched many gaming videos on YouTube, I read many user reviews.

PUBG Mobile FPS Test 2026: Samsung A06 FPS Test & Gaming Review?
Based on multiple YouTube gaming tests. PUBG Mobile works best on Smooth + Extreme 40 FPS setting on Samsung A06.
Normal Gameplay: In lobby and early game, you get 37 to 40 FPS. Movement is smooth. No lag when you loot or run.
Big Fight Performance: When 3-4 squads fight in one area with smoke, grenades, and firing, FPS drops to 32-35 for 2-3 seconds. This is normal for budget phones. After the fight, FPS comes back to 38-40.
Heating Issue: After 20 minutes of continuous PUBG, the phone becomes a little warm. The plastic back makes the heat feel more on your hand. It is not hot or burning. After 40 minutes, some users on Reddit and YouTube comments report that FPS locks at 30 FPS due to thermal throttling.
Research Verdict: For normal PUBG players who play 1-2 matches per day, Samsung A06 is okay. You get stable 40 FPS. But if you are a pro player or e-sports player who needs 90 FPS, this phone is not for you. You need a phone with Snapdragon 695 or Dimensity 700 chip.

Cons – Bad Points:
- HD+ Screen Only: 720p resolution, not FHD+. Graphics look less sharp and colors are dull.
- Plastic Body: 195g weight. Feels cheap, not premium like glass phones.
- Single Speaker: Sound comes from one side only. No stereo speakers for gaming.
- Slow Storage: Uses eMMC 5.1 storage. Games and apps take 2-3 seconds more to load vs UFS storage.
- No OIS Camera: Video recording shakes a little because there is no Optical Image Stabilization.
Samsung A06 Price in Pakistan 2026 – PTA Approved
Based on current market prices.
4GB + 64GB PTA Approved: Rs 26,999 PKR
6GB + 128GB PTA Approved: Rs 29,999 PKR
Non-PTA version is cheaper, around 22k. But I suggest buying PTA approved phone for warranty, updates, and no PTA tax problem in future.

- Your budget is only 25k to 27k PKR
- You play Free Fire more than PUBG
