Infinix Smart 8 Battery mAh
According to GSMArena and WhatMobile, Infinix Smart 8 has 5000 mAh battery. This is Li-Po battery and non-removable. My 3GB/64GB variant also has same battery.
Many websites show wrong info. Some say 6000 mAh but it is not true. I checked my phone box and about phone section. It is 5000 mAh only.
This battery is big enough for daily use. I use Facebook, WhatsApp and YouTube whole day and still 30% left at night. So 5000 mAh is perfect for this price.
Infinix Smart 8 Battery Model Number
The original battery model for Infinix Smart 8 X6525 is BL-49NX. This number is very important for replacement. If you buy other model, battery will not fit in connector.
I asked many shopkeepers in Pakistan. They all confirmed X6525 uses BL-49NX. Even Smart 8 Pro uses same battery. So it is easy to find in market.
Always check model number printed on old battery. It should be BL-49NX with 3.85V. Do not buy BL-49FX or BL-49JX. Those are for different Infinix phones.

In 2026, original BL-49NX battery price in Pakistan is Rs. 2800 to Rs. 3500. In big cities like Lahore and Karachi it is cheaper. In small cities price is high.
Online price on Daraz is around Rs. 3200. They give 3 to 6 months warranty. I recommend buying original with warranty. Copy battery drains very fast.
Shopkeeper will charge extra Rs. 200 to 400 for fitting. Battery replacement takes only 15 minutes. Ask for QR code on battery box for originality check.
Infinix Smart 8 Battery Timing
I tested battery timing on my 3GB/64GB variant. On normal use I get 1.5 days backup. Screen on time is 8 to 9 hours. This includes YouTube and social media.
For video playback it is even better. I played YouTube videos continuously for 12 hours on WiFi. Battery went from 100% to 5%. So video timing is excellent.
For gaming, timing is less. I played Free Fire for 2 hours. Battery dropped from 100% to 65%. So you can play 5 to 6 hours continuous games.
If you want more timing, use 60Hz refresh rate. 90Hz uses more battery. This simple trick increased my battery by 1 hour.

But you must check voltage and size. Always buy 5000 mAh, 3.85V, BL-49NX. If you buy wrong voltage, phone may show temperature error.

Infinix Smart 8 Battery Error Solution
Sometimes phone shows battery draining fast or phone gets hot. I faced this after 5 months. Battery was going from 100% to 0% in 6 hours.
I solved it by checking battery usage. TikTok and Snapchat were using battery in background. I turned off background data for them. Problem solved.
Also update your phone to latest version. Go to Settings > System Update. Infinix fixed many battery bugs in XOS 13. My timing improved after update.
If battery is swollen or phone shuts down at 20%, battery is dead. Replace it quickly. Do not use swollen battery. It can be dangerous.
Tips to Fix Battery Draining Fast

Infinix Smart 8 Battery Temperature Too Low Solution
In winter my phone showed Battery Temperature Too Low when charging. Charging stopped at 0%. I was worried but solution is simple.
This error comes when phone is very cold or charging port has dust. Sensor thinks battery is too cold. So it stops charging for safety.
First remove charger and clean Type-C port with soft brush. Do not use needle. Then keep phone in normal room for 10 minutes. Do not put on heater.
After that charge again with original cable. In my case cleaning port solved issue. If still shows error, battery connector may be loose. Visit technician.
